measures sweet vermouth

1 measures tequila

measure Triple Sec or Cointreau

Splash of sour mix

Shake ingredients with ice until chilled

Strain into a salt rimmed glass to serve

Stir ingredients with craked ice until chilled

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass either on the rocks or straight up

Garnish with lemon zest, a green olive or two pearl onions

measure dry vermouth

2 measures gin

:Martini

Mint Julep:

1 tbsp caster sugar

8-10 mint leaves

1 tbsp hot water

2 measures whiskey or bourbon

Grind the mint leaves and the sugar using a pestle and mortar to release the flavour

Add the water

Spoon into a brandy glass and half fill with crushed ice

Add the whiskey

Stir well until chilled
